Growing Up with Spina Bifida-Kid's Mental Health
Join SBAK and Neuropsychologist, Dr. Amy Usher as she presents to parents regarding the mental health of children. Spina Bifida can impact childhood mental health and children often suffer from ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety. Learn what to what for, when to seek help, and treatment options. Kids will be withing with Education Consultant and Occupational Therapist, Shelly White to learn healthy ways to express feelings and handing emotions while refining social skills and behaviors that will lead to academic success. This program is intended for school aged children with Spina Bifida and their families.
