Lexington's Growing Up With Spina Bifida
Growing Up With Spina Bifida will help your child to navigate their way through to transition to adulthood physically, mentally, and socially. This program helps work on Executive Function skills, as well as how to care for our selves independently. While the kids are learning to find their independence, parents will have an opportunity to meet with a medical professional and discuss the focus for the session. This first meeting will discuss our kids changing bodies, and the dreaded "P" word...... Puberty!
