Financial Assistance

Spina Bifida Association of Kentucky Financial Assistance Fund

As part of our mission, SBAK has developed a Financial Assistance Fund to help individuals with Spina Bifida lead better lives by assisting in various areas, such as education, equipment, physical needs, and emergency assistance. Through this program we have been able to provide:

  • Assistance purchasing equipment to make homes more accessible
  • Handcycles, adapted bikes, and basketball wheelchairs to promote physical activity
  • Help paying medical and therapy bills
  • Help paying for attendance and camps and conferences

Our goal is to help as many people as possible, but our budget for this fund is small and we currently are not accepting applications requesting more than $1,500 in aid.

Download the application below and follow the instructions to complete and return it.

If you would like to help us grow this fund, please contact us for information on making a designated donation.
